Optimizing the core risk areas to maximize safety coverage had the biggest impact of all the assessments we conducted. Shifting our focus from peripheral hazards on the edges to central compliance protocols integrated with core operations was a HUGE improvement in incident prevention. Just relocating our primary risk controls from secondary audits to frontline integration, we went from 2 percent compliance coverage to 5 percent across the network.
